What this site is
Doujin Picks is a catalogue and review site. It describes self-published Japanese comics and illustration collections sold by third parties, principally DLsite, and links to those stores. We do not sell, host or distribute the works themselves.
18 U.S.C. § 2257 — record-keeping
All works described on this site are works of illustration and fiction. They are drawn. They do not depict actual human beings, and no real person appears in any depiction referenced here.
Because the material contains no visual depiction of actual sexually explicit conduct involving real persons, the record-keeping requirements of 18 U.S.C. § 2257 and 28 C.F.R. Part 75 do not apply to it. Doujin Picks is in any case not a producer, primary or secondary, of any of the material described.
Cover images and sample imagery shown alongside a listing are served by the store that sells the work. Responsibility for that material rests with the store and with the work’s creator.
Minors
Doujin Picks has zero tolerance for material depicting the sexual exploitation of minors. This applies to drawn and generated material as well as photographic material.
We also apply a stricter editorial line than the law requires. Where a work’s title or description contains language suggesting a participant is a minor, we do not translate it into English and we do not summarise it. Such works are recorded in the catalogue under their original titles only, without promotional treatment. The list of excluded works is maintained deliberately and reviewed by hand, not by keyword alone.
Age restriction
This site is intended for adults. It is not suitable for minors, and it is the reader’s responsibility to ensure that viewing adult material is lawful where they are.
Advertising
Advertising shown on this site is supplied by third-party networks. We do not accept advertising that carries malware, that misrepresents what it links to, or that uses incentivised or forced clicks. We do not operate paid-to-click or paid-to-read schemes, and we do not buy traffic.
